Scope:
The work at Garland Downtown Square focused on the interfaces between the facility and its operational equipment. Our team provided electrical engineering for the redevelopment of Downtown Garland Square. The $23.5 million, 15 acre project included a children’s play area, water features, an event lawn, a pavilion, and a new entrance. The broader effort also rebuilt 14 blocks of surrounding streetscape to improve pedestrian connections through downtown. Spaces considered in the design included public gathering areas, circulation routes, recreation amenities, and site support facilities. The electrical approach accounted for site and pathway lighting, equipment power, and outdoor electrical distribution.
