Scope:

Bridge lighting calculations and coordination with the structure guided our electrical work on the Margaret McDermott Bridge. The Dallas Horseshoe Project scope included lighting calculations and simulations, a new utility service, lighting controls, maintenance power circuits, fixture selection, and conduit routing. Our team designed lighting and power for the Margaret McDermott Bridge as part of the Dallas Horseshoe Project for the City of Dallas and TxDOT. The team coordinated the lighting design with the bridge architecture and structure within limited installation space. Engineering planning addressed lighting coverage, electrical service, equipment connections, and routing along the transportation corridor. Design also considered maintenance access and coordination with roadway or rail operations.
