Scope:
The Williams Monnig School project will modernize the campus’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems along with its technology and security infrastructure, with construction beginning in 2025 and substantial completion expected in 2027. Our team is providing engineering for a MEP, technology, and security renovation and expansion at William Monnig Middle School, a Fort Worth ISD campus, as part of the district’s 2021 Bond Program. Spaces considered in the design include lecture rooms, teaching spaces, faculty offices, and shared student areas. For mechanical systems, we consider zoning and ventilation for spaces with different occupancy schedules. The electrical approach accounts for instructional lighting, equipment power, and accessible receptacle locations. Our water and drainage planning considers water and drainage for restrooms and building support spaces.
