Scope:

The General Motors Plant Expansion scope supported the plant’s modernization efforts with updated power distribution, lighting, and HVAC infrastructure for the expanded facility. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for an expansion and new construction project at General Motors’ Arlington Assembly Plant in Arlington, Texas. Spaces considered in the design included production or service areas, equipment spaces, storage, and staff support facilities. For mechanical systems, we considered ventilation and equipment heat loads matched to operational uses. The electrical approach accounted for process equipment power, task lighting, and electrical distribution capacity. Our water and drainage planning considered water and drainage needs coordinated with operational equipment.
