Scope:

North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) 911 Data Center tied the needs of computing equipment to the surrounding building infrastructure. Our team provided mission critical engineering for the North Central Texas Council of Governments’ regional 911 data center, supporting emergency communications infrastructure across the region. The design scope included power distribution, generator backup, fiber and network infrastructure, security systems, and lighting to ensure resilient, continuous 911 emergency call center operations. For server rooms, equipment areas, and the infrastructure that supported computing operations, the design considered ventilation and temperature control, power and lighting, and the utility connections needed for daily use. Layouts accounted for the different demands of occupied rooms, equipment areas, and support functions.
