Planning a new career and technical education facility for Adams 12 Five Star Schools began with a mechanical and electrical study. Teaching and hands on training spaces guided our work at Adams 12 New Career & Technical Education Facility. Our team provided a mechanical and electrical study for Adams 12 Five Star Schools’ proposed career and technical education facility in Colorado. The team supported planning for the facility’s building systems. The planning included teaching laboratories, hands on training areas, classrooms, and faculty spaces. Mechanical planning addressed ventilation and temperature control suited to teaching and equipment use. For electrical systems, we considered equipment power, task lighting, and flexible classroom electrical layouts.
