Scope:

Upgrades to the Front Range Community College BP Data Center improved the reliability and efficiency of the systems that keep computing equipment running. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for the data center serving Front Range Community College. Typical upgrade work for a data center of this type includes added cooling capacity, airflow management around server racks, redundant power paths, uninterruptible power and backup generation, and monitoring and controls, along with planning so that equipment can be serviced without interrupting operations. Design considerations included equipment heat loads, electrical loads, distribution capacity, and coordination with existing systems.
