Scope:

Equipment connections and plant operation guided the work at Colorado School of Mines Chiller Plant 5, Chiller Upgrade. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for Colorado School of Mines, Chiller Plant 5, Chiller Upgrade. The mechanical and electrical scope covered the system upgrades. Design priorities included equipment layout, capacity, maintenance access, controls, and connections to the existing utility infrastructure. Mechanical planning addressed pumping, distribution, and operation of the heating or cooling systems. Electrical planning addressed equipment loads, distribution capacity, and the sequence of service connections.
