At Douglas County Library (DCL) James LaRue (Highlands Ranch Branch), lighting, comfort, and access to power were closely tied to how people used the library. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for Douglas County Library (DCL) James LaRue (Highlands Ranch Branch), serving Douglas County Libraries. The building systems planning covered reading and study areas, meeting rooms, public computer stations, and staff workspaces. The HVAC approach accounted for quiet HVAC operation and ventilation for changing public occupancy. Our power and lighting planning considered reading and task lighting, computer power, and flexible furniture layouts.
