Scope:

Aurora Fire Station combined the needs of an emergency response workplace with spaces for daily station life. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for Aurora Fire Station, serving City of Aurora. The design considered apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, training areas, and equipment support spaces. Our mechanical planning focused on separation of apparatus bay ventilation from living spaces and control of vehicle exhaust. Electrical planning addressed apparatus area lighting, equipment power, and standby power coordination.
