Scope:

TDCJ Dormitory Prototype brought private rooms, common areas, and residential support functions into the engineering work. Our team supported the TDCJ Dormitory Prototype project. For resident rooms, shared lounges, laundry areas, corridors, and building support spaces, the design considered the utility connections needed for daily use along with plumbing equipment needs, institutional type plumbing fixtures, and controls to support daily use. Layouts accounted for the different demands of occupied rooms, equipment areas, and support functions.
