Scope:

Work at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Orthopedic Surgery Center & Tissue Culture Lab included improvements to laboratory spaces, ceilings, and mechanical and electrical rooms. Our team supported renovation and expansion of the Tissue Culture Room at UT Southwestern’s Orthopedic Surgery Center. The project value was $15 million. The planning included laboratories, equipment rooms, preparation areas, and research support spaces. Mechanical planning addressed laboratory supply and exhaust air, pressure relationships, and equipment heat loads. For electrical systems, we considered instrument power, laboratory lighting, and distribution coordinated with equipment layouts.
