Scope:

The research spaces at CDPHE BSL 3 Rapid Response Lab brought distinct demands for air, power, and utility coordination. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for CDPHE, BSL 3 Rapid Response Lab, serving Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The planning included laboratories, equipment rooms, preparation areas, and research support spaces. Mechanical planning addressed laboratory supply and exhaust air, pressure relationships, and equipment heat loads. For electrical systems, we considered instrument power, laboratory lighting, and distribution coordinated with equipment layouts.
