Scope:

The DCCCD El Centro West Renovation scope included updated power distribution, lighting, and HVAC systems to support the campus’s classrooms and student spaces. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the renovation of El Centro College’s West Campus, part of the Dallas County Community College District, in Dallas, Texas. Spaces considered in the design included lecture rooms, teaching spaces, faculty offices, and shared student areas. For mechanical systems, we considered zoning and ventilation for spaces with different occupancy schedules. The electrical approach accounted for instructional lighting, equipment power, and accessible receptacle locations. Our water and drainage planning considered water and drainage for restrooms and building support spaces.
