Scope:

Apparatus areas and firefighter living spaces brought different demands to the work at Dallas Fire Station No. 19. Our team provided engineering for the $4,000,000, 8,400 square feet replacement of Dallas Fire Station No. 19 at 5600 E. Grand Ave. in East Dallas. The original 1923 station in Samuell Grand Park was damaged by a June 2016 storm and required a full tear down and rebuild. The new three bay pull through station featured semi private sleeping quarters, a fitness center, kitchen, dining area, and dayroom, with masonry detailing incorporating the Roman numeral “XIX” and a perimeter wall preserving the site’s heritage trees. The station celebrated its grand reopening June 10, 2023.
