Scope:
South Oak Cliff High School brought classroom, administrative, and student support needs into the building systems work. Our team supported the aggressive renovation and additions to South Oak Cliff High School as part of the 2015 Dallas ISD Bond Program, including a new mechanical system for the entire school. The design added new learning environments for career and technology training, fine and performing arts, general education, and life skills programs, along with a new athletic facility featuring a 2,000 seat basketball gym and an auxiliary gym that doubled as the main storm shelter. New public entries, a two story administration addition, four new science labs, community meeting rooms, and collaborative courtyard workspaces rounded out the project. The project value was $52,000,000.
