Scope:

At Forney Animal Shelter, environmental control and daily care needs were closely connected. Our team provided engineering for the Forney Animal Shelter in Forney, Texas. The $1,979,396 construction contract was awarded in April 2016, with groundbreaking that July, delivering a new 5,500 square foot facility funded by a $2 million municipal bond. The shelter included 24 dog kennels and two dedicated cat rooms, giving the growing city of Forney a modern, purpose built facility to house and care for animals awaiting adoption.
