Scope:

The work at NIST BCC Data Center Building focused on the practical relationship between technology equipment and its support systems. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for NIST, BCC Data Center Building, serving National Institute of Standards and Technology. The mechanical and electrical scope covered the system upgrades. The design considered server rooms, equipment areas, and the infrastructure that supported computing operations. Our mechanical planning focused on equipment heat loads, cooling airflow, and service access around technology racks. Electrical planning addressed equipment power, distribution capacity, and coordination of backup power needs.
