Scope:
Equipment connections and plant operation guided the work at NIST Building 1 Chilled Water System. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for NIST, Building 1 Chilled Water System, serving National Institute of Standards and Technology. Design priorities included equipment layout, capacity, maintenance access, controls, and connections to the existing utility infrastructure. Mechanical planning addressed pumping, distribution, and operation of the heating or cooling systems. Electrical planning addressed equipment loads, distribution capacity, and the sequence of service connections.
