Scope:

Parkfield Fire Station combined the needs of an emergency response workplace with spaces for daily station life. Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering for Parkfield Fire Station, serving City and County of Denver. Spaces considered in the design included apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, training areas, and equipment support spaces. For mechanical systems, we considered separation of apparatus bay ventilation from living spaces and control of vehicle exhaust. The electrical approach accounted for apparatus area lighting, equipment power, and standby power coordination.
