Scope:
An 8,500 square foot FBO terminal and 30,000 square foot hangar brought different operational needs to Jet Aviation’s Scottsdale facility. The Scottsdale Airport Jet Aviation FBO project included an 8,500 square foot terminal and a 30,000 square foot hangar at one of the busiest business aviation airports in the country. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology design for Jet Aviation’s FBO and hangar complex at Scottsdale Airport. Terminal spaces included a lobby, conference and meeting rooms, private lounges, pilot rest areas, and weather and flight planning facilities. The hangar used a pre-engineered metal structure with tilt-up concrete cladding, and bringing the contractor on early allowed early procurement that reduced project cost and construction time. The engineering scope included HVAC, lighting, IT infrastructure, hangar foam and water suppression, and sprinklers in support spaces. The terminal received the Aviation International News Top Flight Award for New FBO Facility.
