Scope:
Sulphur Springs is the seat of Hopkins County in Northeast Texas, historically known for dairy farming. Our team supported Sulphur Springs City Hall renovation and expansion. The addition to City Hall is to consist of a two-story expansion that mirrors the historic post office in footprint and general massing that is connected to the 2012 expansion through a two-story corridor. The addition is to accommodate the Community Development department, the Finance/Utility Billing/Tax department, and a part of the Administration department. A variety of shared collaboration spaces and conference rooms are to be provided as well as a staff break room that opens out onto a plaza area.
