Scope:

The Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas Renovation project was recognized with a 2020 Best Projects award for Higher Education/Research from ENR Texas & Louisiana. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, and security engineering for the renovation of the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas. The project covered 25,600 square feet with a project value of $4,000,000. The design considered laboratories, equipment rooms, preparation areas, and research support spaces. Our mechanical planning focused on laboratory supply and exhaust air, pressure relationships, and equipment heat loads. Electrical planning addressed instrument power, laboratory lighting, and distribution coordinated with equipment layouts. For plumbing systems, we considered laboratory water and waste connections and separation of utility needs.
