Scope:

A one mile trail link through the Design District connected the Katy Trail and Trinity Strand Trail as part of The Loop. The Loop Hi Line Connector scope included lighting and pedestrian and cyclist crossing signals. Our team provided electrical engineering for the Hi Line Connector in Dallas’ Design District. The $11.4 million project created a one mile link between the Katy Trail and Trinity Strand Trail as part of The Loop. The broader project added raised bike lanes, roadway changes, public art, and a pathway connection beneath Interstate 35E. The building systems planning covered public gathering areas, circulation routes, recreation amenities, and site support facilities. Our power and lighting planning considered site and pathway lighting, equipment power, and outdoor electrical distribution.
