Scope:

The Dallas Fretz Park Branch Library Renovation scope included work area outlets, speakers, cameras, wireless access points, access controls, telecommunications room and rack layouts, and fiber and copper cabling. Our team provided telecommunications design for the renovation of Dallas’ Fretz Park Branch Library. The approximately 19,500 square foot, $6.5 million renovation achieved LEED Gold certification. The firm’s listed services also included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering. The design considered reading and study areas, meeting rooms, public computer stations, and staff workspaces. Our mechanical planning focused on quiet HVAC operation and ventilation for changing public occupancy. Electrical planning addressed reading and task lighting, computer power, and flexible furniture layouts. For plumbing systems, we considered domestic water and drainage for public and staff facilities.
