John Peter Smith Hospital Systemwide MEP Condition Assessment

Scope:

Each item was evaluated for condition and code and safety compliance, then located on CADD drawings and sorted into three replacement priority categories: poor condition (replace soon), fair condition (plan for replacement within 5 years), and good condition (plan, serving replacement within 10 years). Our team performed a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing site evaluation of existing equipment across all 44 buildings of the JPS Health Network, totaling approximately 3.5 million square feet The scope covered mechanical equipment (rooftop units, fans, pumps, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers), electrical equipment (generators, transformers, switchgear, panels, transfer switches), and plumbing equipment (water heaters, fixtures, backflow preventers, sump pumps). This ongoing assessment relationship with JPS Health Network began in 2011. The project covered ~3.5 million square feet (44 buildings).
