Scope:
Dallas Fire Station No. 41 combines the needs of an emergency response workplace with spaces for daily station life. Our team provided engineering for the $6,155,000, 8,248 square feet rebuild of Dallas Fire Station No. 41 on Royal Lane in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas. The original station was destroyed by an October 2019 tornado. The design team laser scanned a virtually identical sister station to inform the replacement, which includes two and a half apparatus bays, sleeping quarters, a physical training area, kitchen, and offices, along with expanded parking and an increased setback from Royal Lane. The rebuilt station returned to its permanent site in 2024.
