Scope:

The UCHSC Education Facility 1B at Fitzsimons project was approximately 115,251 gross square feet with a value of $37.2 million. Our team supported the Education Facility 1B project at the Fitzsimons campus. The health sciences education program included lecture and classroom spaces, gross anatomy and physiology instruction, computer classrooms, and simulated inpatient and outpatient examination areas. For lecture rooms, teaching spaces, faculty offices, and shared student areas, the design considered ventilation and temperature control, power and lighting, and the utility connections needed for daily use. Layouts accounted for the different demands of occupied rooms, equipment areas, and support functions.
