Scope:

Animal care and the staff supporting it guided the engineering approach at Dallas Zoo Renovations. Our team provided engineering design services for the Dallas Zoo, including a new quarantine building and a range of miscellaneous facility renovations and upgrades across the campus. That work also included a new educational facility and exhibit space, reflecting our team’s role as a recurring engineering consultant for the Dallas Zoo’s ongoing facility improvements. For animal housing, examination and care areas, cleaning spaces, and staff support rooms, the design considered ventilation and temperature control, power and lighting, and the utility connections needed for daily use. Layouts accounted for the different demands of occupied rooms, equipment areas, and support functions.
