Harwood Park

Scope:

Harwood Park replaced downtown surface parking with play areas, gathering spaces, gardens, and park amenities. The Harwood Park project received an ENR Texas and Louisiana Award of Merit in 2024 and design recognition from the Dallas Architecture Forum and Greater Dallas Planning Council in 2023. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for Harwood Park in downtown Dallas. The $20.3 million, 3.8 acre park replaced surface parking with a playground, performance pavilion, rain gardens, two dog parks, lawns, and picnic areas.
