Irving Live Fire Tactical Training Center

Scope:

The Irving Police Department constructed a new facility to help meet the needs of the department. The complex included police training capabilities, adding more space for long range weapons training as well as dynamic, multi use space, serving mobile tactical training. Officers had the flexibility to train at 20 lanes at 100 yards, compared to the old facility’s seven lanes at 25 yards, and the new space also accommodated vehicles. Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering for the $17.5 million, 30,000 square foot training center. The project value was $17,500,000.
