John Peter Smith Hospital Health Network Ambulatory Surgical Center

Scope:

Schematic planning for JPS’ ambulatory surgical center addressed the building systems supporting outpatient procedures and care. Our team provided schematic design for a proposed ambulatory surgical center for JPS Health Network. The engineering program covered power distribution, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, medical gases, fire protection, security, nurse call, and technology systems for outpatient surgical and diagnostic care. The planning included procedure areas, staff workrooms, equipment spaces, and clinical support rooms. Mechanical planning addressed ventilation, filtration, and pressure relationships for surgical and processing functions. The plumbing approach accounted for clinical water and waste connections and processing equipment interfaces.
