Mesquite Fire Station #8 and Training Facility

Scope:

The first new fire station built in Mesquite in over 30 years, Fire Station #8 will have four pull through apparatus bays and accommodations for up to 14 fire personnel, including private sleeping quarters, common spaces such as a kitchen and dining area, a dayroom, study and report writing areas, a fitness room and outdoor fitness area, and a storm shelter. A maintenance shop, EMS storage, turn out gear storage, station laundry, and a storage mezzanine will also be provided. A police sub station will share a public lobby with the fire station and will feature two offices with ample space to perform professional tasks. Our team is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the project. The project covers 15,700 square feet with a project value of $11,700,000.
