Scope:

The Southern Gateway Green Foundation is funding the design and construction of a new park built on the I 35 highway deck adjacent to the Dallas Zoo and the Oak Cliff neighborhood. $47 million of the $65 million budget is dedicated to building the infrastructure that supports the park itself. The deck park is estimated to open in early 2026 with a pavilion, a lawn area, a children’s play area, an amphitheater, fountains, and restroom/storage rooms. Our team is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the project, as part of the firm’s broader portfolio of highway deck and priority park work, serving the City of Dallas. The project value is $65,000,000.
