Scope:

Texas A&M University Texarkana Central Utility Plant Expansion focused on the heating or cooling infrastructure serving the facility. Our team provided engineering for the expansion of the Central Utility Plant at Texas A&M University Texarkana, located at 7101 University Avenue in Texarkana, Texas. The original $9.2 million plant, completed in August 2010 and designed with two 900 ton chillers, two cooling towers, and two 250 horsepower boilers, was designed from the outset with room to grow. The $1.1 million Phase II addition added 4,825 square feet of office space to the plant, with construction running from March 2016 through February 2017, supporting the university’s expanding cooling and heating capacity as its campus grew. The project value was $1,100,000.
