Scope:

The Baylor Data Center scope included new emergency generators, switchgear, rooftop HVAC units, server racks, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, delivering the redundant power and cooling infrastructure required for a mission critical healthcare data center. Our team provided engineering for the expansion and upgrade of Baylor University Medical Center’s data center in Dallas, Texas, supporting the health system’s growing computing infrastructure needs. Spaces considered in the design included server rooms, equipment areas, and the infrastructure that supported computing operations. For mechanical systems, we considered equipment heat loads, cooling airflow, and service access around technology racks.
