Scope:

New fitness and activity areas, better access, and relocated equipment rentals shape the Morris Recreation Center project at East Texas A&M. Our team is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for additions and renovations at East Texas A&M University’s Morris Recreation Center. Improvements also address entrance accessibility, lighting, and access to the pool and outdoor courts. The project value is $15.5 million. Spaces considered in the design include activity areas, meeting and program rooms, locker facilities, and staff spaces. For mechanical systems, we consider ventilation and thermal control for changing activity and occupancy levels. The electrical approach accounts for activity lighting, equipment power, and electrical support for program spaces. Our water and drainage planning considers locker and restroom fixtures and water distribution for public use.
