Garland City Hall Service Entrance

Scope:

Dual utility feeds gave Garland City Hall two electrical sources, with a portable generator connection available if both were lost. Dual utility feeders served two 1,000 kVA transformers and a main tie main switchgear arrangement, with a portable generator connection for loss of both utility sources. Our team designed redundant electrical service for Garland City Hall in coordination with Garland Power and Light. Current limiting fuses protected existing low voltage panels from increased available fault current. The scope also included replacement of the existing low voltage switchboard, coordinated power outages, and temporary power for critical systems.
