Scope:
The Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center is a new campus between Midland and Odessa with inpatient and outpatient services. The approximately 224,000 square foot, $225 million project includes crisis stabilization, therapeutic spaces, counseling offices, community education, and residency services. The facility is planned to expand access to behavioral health care in West Texas. For patient living areas, treatment and counseling rooms, staff stations, and support spaces, the design considers ventilation and temperature control, power and lighting, and the utility connections needed for daily use. Layouts account for the different demands of occupied rooms, equipment areas, and support functions.
