Scope:

The Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center project expanded an existing City of Dallas recreation center to add a senior center on the north end of the building, plus relocation and enclosure of the existing outdoor basketball court to create an indoor gymnasium. Our team designed high efficiency rooftop units, new independent restroom exhaust, and a replaced and upgraded main electrical distribution panel and service to support the gym and expansion. The $8,275,000, 11,325 square foot renovation and expansion also included an LED lighting retrofit with intelligent lighting controls extended into the new spaces.
